Significantly better than its smaller brother, the 'Sennheiser HD 200 Pro'. The noise isolation is better, and the earcups create a firmer seal around the ear. For extended use, the pressure might be a bit too strong for some. I use it for practice sessions lasting 1-1.5 hours, and it is very comfortable during that time. The sound is richer and fuller than the HD 200, and it can compete with high-end headphones like those from Bose. It is also suitable for people who wear glasses.
