The SLO set the standard for modern high-gain amplification and nearly four decades later, is still one of the most coveted amps in history. Simply a fantastic pedal. This pedal is incredibly versatile, suitable for everything from blues to blues rock, rock, hard rock, and even metal from the mid-80s to the 90s. In other words, it's almost timeless and can be used in any style if you're looking for the sound of that era. While it doesn't sound exactly like the original amp, it's very close. And that's a clear win! The deep switch on the side provides plenty of low-end, just like the original. You'll quickly discover what sounds can be created with the controls. All the controls go up to 11, and sometimes you need to set them to 11 to find the sound you're looking for, but that's part of the fun. And you'll want to keep using it to get the best sounds possible from your guitar! I'm completely convinced about the SLO!
