VGS Schaller Special (cherry burst)

VGS
The innovative concept of this brand is a proven construction technique combined with a new design.

The instruments of VGS are very good value for money. The Evertune bridge systems work on a purely mechanical basis and automatically keep the guitar in tune after a single adjustment. The basic functions of the Evertune systems are based on trigonometry and rudimentary physics. Each string, when properly tuned, has a constant tensile force. The Evertune system uses a spring which, correctly adjusted, counteracts the respective string with exactly the same tensile force. Changes in the tensile force, for example due to stretching of the material (temperature change) or slight detuning of the mechanics are now automatically compensated. The Evertune is divided into six segments with six individual springs, one segment for each string. If one string breaks, the tuning of the other is not affected. External influences such as cold or heat are compensated for by the system. There are 3 setting variants available: Backstop: The individual string riders are in the rear stop position, the system is inoperative and functions like any other bridge. Sweetspot: The string riders are in the middle floating position, the system is activated. The system even corrects bends and there are no tone changes when the strings are pulled. This is particularly interesting when recording rhythm guitars in the studio. Multiple doubling of riffs is possible without intonation fluctuations Bendstop: The mechanics of the individual strings are turned until the tuning of the respective string jumps to the next higher note. Then turn back a quarter turn and you are in bend stop mode. The system is still active, but you can play bends in the usual way. As long as you work with the same string gauge, no changes need to be made when changing strings. When changing to a different strength, the springs must be readjusted. This can be easily adjusted from the outside of the string saddle using the supplied 6-point key. Evertune systems work without sensitive electronic components and therefore without a power supply.
