The Vintage V100CS is equipped with absolutely tunable Wilkinson Deluxe tuners and two Wilkinson MWVC humbuckers with a chrome-plated pickup cover. The ceramic pickups make the V100 sound modern and balanced thanks to the high output: no "mulming" in the bass, but warmth and blues character on the neck pickup as well as aggressiveness and precision on the bridge. The mahogany body and the glued-in mahogany neck with Lignum Rosa fingerboard ensure a warm and full tone with lots of sustain, the 60's neck profile makes the neck grippy and easy to play, and thanks to the curved maple top, the V100CS not only has the right sound, but also... also the optics.

Ich besitze seit über 20 Jahre eine Epiphone Dot ES-335 und eine Line 6 JTV-69 von James Tyler. Aber diese Vintage V100AFD hat mich auf Anhieb überzeugt und nimmt nun den ersten Platz ein. Verarbeitung ist bei meiner makellos. Gitarre gestimmt und sofort wohlgefühlt. Die Wilkinson Hardware ist 1a. Die Volumen- und Tone Potis sind  fein regelbar. Ich denke für den Preis erhält man hier ein wunderschönes Instrument, welches auch Slash gefallen würde.
