Cuety is a light controller that turns a tablet (iPad / Android) into a professional lighting console. Cuety uses the multi-touch functionality and the mobility of a tablet and enables the control of DMX equipment such as moving lights, LED devices or conventional dimmers. Cuety is based on the Cuety app and is completed by the additional hardware LPU-2, which provides the optically isolated DMX output. The two components are connected via Ethernet / Wi-Fi.
The LPU-2 is the heart of the system. The powerful processor generates the show, calculates fade times and renders the dynamic effects. The Cuety app only forms the user interface - the advantage of this system: if the Wi-Fi connection should break for any reason, the show continues.
In contrast to the LPU-1, the LPU-2 can be remotely controlled externally via network-based protocols such as OSC, TCP and UDP as well as HTTP. This means that Cuety can be integrated into professional show control systems such as CRESTRON or similar, for example. Custom-made user interfaces can also be easily implemented via OSC.
Cuety is designed for the simplest operation, but Cuety has the cuelist-based storage of shows, which is a standard in the professional lighting industry. You program shows with the same workflow as professional light programmers for large stadium events; just a lot easier. An integrated and powerful effect generator also has creative effects for movements, brightness and RGB color mixing. Of course, all effects can be freely adjusted in terms of shape, color and speed. Cuety contains an extensive library of DMX devices with over 3,800 different types - many of them with different DMX modes to choose from. New devices can be requested quickly and easily free of charge via the support forum.
An additional tool is available with the Cuety Remote in the AppStore. The compact app allows cuelists to be triggered from the mobile device, but not to be modified. The Cuety Remote App is ideally suited as a compact controller, for example in the catering area, bars or similar installations.
The Cuety software for the LPU-1 and LPU-2 hardware can be downloaded free of charge from the AppStore / google play store.
Compatible with iPad, iPad Mini and Android products
Can also be controlled / accessed via iPhone and Android smartphones
Compatible with PC, Mac, Linux and ArtNet.
Multi-tasking (app change possible at any time). Wi-Fi backup (show data is generated in LPU-1 - no failure with unstable Wi-Fi connection).
Speed potentiometer per cuelist fader and individual fade in & out times per cue / scene
Remote app as well as multilingual user interface and automatic updates
64 memory locations, 8 cue stack faders, cue stacks buttons, soft patch.
In contrast to the LPU-1, the LPU-2 can be remotely controlled externally via network-based protocols such as OSC, TCP & UDP and HTTP. Thus, the integration of Cuety z. B. in professional show control systems such as Crestron or similar possible. Custom-made user interfaces can also be easily implemented via OSC.
