Yamaha HS8S

With the new HS series, YAMAHA is introducing three active near-field monitors that impress with their excellent reference sound and excellent value for money. The HS5, HS7 and HS8 models are ideally complemented by the 150 watt HS8S subwoofer and can be used both as stereo speakers and as a surround ensemble. Thanks to the award-winning YAMAHA loudspeaker technologies and high-quality components, the two-way monitors ensure precise listening for musicians and recording studios. YAMAHA has developed a number of excellent loudspeakers for the new HS series. They use an advanced magnetic field design, which enables a natural and detailed sound image and ensures excellent reproduction of the depth gradation. The active two-way monitors are characterized by the elegant appearance of their predecessors. Inside, Yamaha relies on a particularly high-quality acoustic design: a sturdy triple miter construction anchors all the loudspeaker components particularly firmly. This not only increases durability, it also eliminates unwanted vibrations that could affect the sound. In addition, the new design reliably dampens audible interference, which can arise, for example, from air turbulence in the housing. The new HS series comprises three different models: In addition to the HS5 (5 inch woofer, 1 inch tweeter) with 70 watts and the HS8 (8 inch woofer, 1 inch tweeter) with 120 watts, YAMAHA has an active monitor with the HS7 with 6, 5 inch woofer and 95 watts one. The perfect addition is the active 150 watt HS8S subwoofer.
