Can be used with any app that supports Bluetooth MIDI.
After successfully connecting the hardware, only the Bluetooth MIDI adapter is listed as a choose connection type. The data connection is then established immediately. Any app that supports Bluetooth MIDI can be used use.
With the help of Bluetooth LE (Low Energy) it is possible to transmit MIDI data. This standard is supported by iOS 9.2 or later and Mac OS 10.10 (Yosemite) and later.

Overall, it's a good product. I use it with my Yamaha WX5 wind controller. The slight Bluetooth latency can be an issue in studio settings (recordings)... In that case, I would probably prefer to use it with a cable or the Panda Audio midiBeam v2 (2.4GHz), which transmits with very low latency. It also works very well as a BT MIDI interface when used with iOS devices.
Easy to use and functions without problems. The only drawback is the relatively high latency over Bluetooth, which is due to the Bluetooth protocol itself.
