Had long used the Ernie Ball strap locks, went back to a more simple setting, so I could keep the original strap buttons on my guitars. They do very well the job, come in different colours for those who want to assort the Strap Blocks to their instruments, extremely simple to put on the strap buttons.
Like any other strap lock, maintenance is necessary, the mechanical strap locks need some oil here and then, the Szrab Blocks need to be exchanged. It's plastic resp. rubber, and plastic/rubber ages and get brittle with time. Mine last some 3 years and at some point you note that they are getting rigid and brittl, so order a new pack-

Gurt darf nicht zu dick sein, sonst nützen sie nicht. Normaler Nylon, Stoff oder Ledergurt ist OK.

Donnent du fil à retordre quand il s'agit de faire réviser sa guitare (sangle enlevée pour l'occasion): il faut souvent remettre un strap neuf pour s'assurer que la sangle tienne sur la durée.

Statt der Straplocks die Billigvariante gewählt, weil ich nicht an meinem neuen Bass rumschrauben wollte. Hält auch. Auf den Auslösemechanismus kann ich verzichten, der Bass steht immer spielbereit im Ständer

Sehr-Billigvariante, aber funktioniert

Rien à redire. Dans ce genre de produit, c’est ce que j’ai trouvé de plus intelligent. Je les utilises notamment avec un AX synth (keytar) et je peu retourner l’instrument dans le dos en toute confiance pour aller jouer sur un clavier standard.

Voilà les bons

Kennt ihr das? Ihr habe eine SG, Flying V oder eine Explorer und habt es mit S-Locks versucht. Resultat: blaue Flecken am Bauchnabel, da Euch die S-Locks die ganze Probe lang in Eure physikalische Mitte drücken. Lässt man sie weg, rutscht der Gurt aus den Pins und die Klampfe liegt am Boden. 
Für diese Gibsons sind die Fender Strap Blocks ideal. Zwar kriegt man dann den Gurt gar nicht mehr weg (auch nicht im Koffer), dafür behält aber der Bauchnabel seine Integrität und da Fender völlig auf Metallteile verzichtet, scheppert auch nix. Genial einfach und erst noch günstig.

Pour une utilisation simple et facile à installer, je suis satisfait des Fender Strap Blocks.

Simple mais efficace

A beer rubber seal do the job 10x better than this crappy piece of plastic. Avoid it!

Bad quality

Eine Sicherung für den Gitarrengurt. Eine kleine Investition, die sich auf jeden Fall lohnt. Mein Gurt hat sich letzthin von der Gitarre verabschiedet und diese ist auf die Decke gefallen. Nochmals Glück gehabt, dass es keinen Schaden gab. Sicherheitshalber diese Teiler bestellt, denn ein nächstes Mal soll es nicht geben.

DAs Produkt wurde mir vom Verkäufer empfholen, einfach zu montieren und halten gut toller Service.  

Klein aber fein

Ihr kennt den ersten Griff eines jeden Gitarristen, wenn er sich eine Gitarre um den Hals hängt. Zuerst greift man mit seiner rechten Hand an den Gurt-Pin und kontrolliert, ob der Gurt richtig sitzt, ansonsten könnte nämlich die Gitarre schon 2 Sekunden später auf dem Boden liegen.
Mit diesen Strap-Blocks wird das verhindert, auch wenn man den ersten Griff vergisst und der Gurt falsch rum hängt, halten die Strap-Blocks den Gurt und somit die Gitarre.
Am Anfang sind sie schwierig anzubringen, aber einmal dran macht man sie auch nicht mehr so schnell wieder weg. Ich versorge meine Gitarren immer mit dem Gurt in den Taschen. PS. Die Strap-Blocks jedes Mal neu zu montieren ist keine Option.
