Pioneering audio recording for more than 60 years.

Founded in 1958 by Bill Putnam Sr., Universal Audio has been synonymous with innovative recording products since its inception. A favorite engineer of Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Ray Charles and more, the late Bill Putnam Sr. was a passionate innovator who is widely regarded as the father of modern recording — with many of his legendary studio and equipment designs still in use today.

Specifically, Putnam was the inventor of the modern recording console, the multi-band audio equalizer, and the vocal booth, and he was the first engineer to use artificial reverberation in commercial recording. Alongside his friend Les Paul, Putnam was also involved in the early development of stereophonic recording.

Putnam, a natural entrepreneur, started three audio product companies during his long career: Universal Audio, Studio Electronics, and UREI. All three companies built equipment that remains widely used decades after their introduction, including the ubiquitous LA-2A and 1176 compressors, and the 610 tube recording console. The 610 console in particular stands as one of the most beloved designs in audio history, used to record everyone from Sinatra to the Beach Boys to Van Halen’s eponymous debut.

Vielfältige Anschlussmöglichkeiten. Funktioniert unter Mac und PC.

Apollo hält was es verspricht

Ancien possesseur d'une Apollo 8, je trouve le son grandement amélioré avec cette dernière génération des Apollo en rack. Si vous voulez travailler avec les plugs UAD et profiter de pouvoir peaufiner les sons lors de l'enregistrement, il ne faut pas chercher ailleurs. Cette interface est magique, les preamps couplés à la technologie UNISON donnent une couleur dingue à vos enregistrements. Bref, je recommande 1000x.

La scheda è fantastica... sono solo un pó deluso dai produttori che approfittano dei plug-in per vendere anche dei pacchetti a prezzi, a mio prere, spropositati. 
Se siete interessati ad avere un suono vero per i vostri strumenti e la vostra voce, questa è la scheda audio che fa per voi!!!

FANTASTICA scheda audio

Verarbeitung, Ausstattung und Haptik (Stufen Potis) machen dieses Produkt zu einem stimmigen Gesamtprodukt. Einziges Manko ist vlt. das externe Netzteil. Wäre cool wenn UAD das direkt verbauen könnte und man mittels Kaltgerätestecker an den Stromkreis anschliessen könnte. Ansonsten erfüllt das Apollo x6 im Hinblick auf Routingmöglichkeiten und Leistung voll und ganz meine Erwartungen. Zusätzlich konnte ich noch von einer Promo profitieren und habe von Universal Audio zusätzlich eine Satellite Thunderbolt Octo erhalten.
