The opsix for the highest demands
The opsix SE is an altered FM synthesizer with 6 operators and an intuitive operating concept based on a clear operator mixer with color-coded faders and rotary controls. With its elegant yet robust metal housing as well as the premium keyboard with 61 keys and Aftertouch , it is the pro version of the KORG opsix that meets even the highest demands. As if that weren't enough, the maximum polyphony of the Japanese-made instrument has been increased to up to 80 voices (compared to 32 voices for the opsix). The preset sounds of the opsix SE have all been revised for the new Aftertouch functionality and supplemented by new, additional sounds. The stylish metal housing of the instrument gives it a particularly elegant character and can easily withstand the rigors of everyday touring life. What remains is the incredibly versatile Altered FM sound generation from the opsix, which can cover six different forms of synthesis with FM, subtractive synthesis, virtual-semi-modular synthesis, virtual-analog synthesis, waveshaping and additive synthesis. If the 40 factory-prepared algorithms cannot deliver the desired sound, you can create your own algorithms in no time at all - and if necessary, for each sound program individually! There are no fewer than 12 different routing options to choose from via the virtual patchbay. Combined with the high-quality effects, up to three of which can be used at the same time, and the powerful, polyphonic step sequencer with motion sequencing, this creates a variety of sounds that hardly any other hardware synth can deliver on its own. And so that the instrument is well protected during transport, it is delivered with a matching KORG hard case.
