The Scarlett 8i6 is the compact studio solution you've been looking for. With it you can connect all your hardware and leave it ready for use: Set up your microphones, guitars and synthesizers and get started as soon as you have an idea. With improved A-D and D-A conversion, your recordings and playbacks sound clear and nuanced with up to 24 bits and 192 kHz, while two independent hi-fi headphone outputs with their own volume controls allow flexible listening while recording and mixing.

The 8i6 features two of the most impressive third generation Scarlett microphone preamps from Focusrite: with optional Air mode to reproduce the air effect of the original ISA microphone preamp, giving your vocal and acoustic recordings a brighter and more open sound.

Record guitars or basses via the two instrument inputs with lots of headroom - overdriving and distortion are a thing of the past! With the six flexible line inputs - two of them with gain controls on the front and four fixed level inputs on the back - you can let your creativity run free. You can record up to six mono or three stereo sources with line level, for example synthesizers or drum machines.

A pair of virtual loopback inputs allow you to record a stereo feed using any combination of hardware inputs and software playback channels - making podcasting, live streaming and sampling a breeze.

The Scarlett 8i6 is prepared for rough tour life and can be connected directly to your Mac® or PC via a USB cable. The interface already includes all software tools for getting started: two comprehensive DAWs, Ableton® Live Lite ™ and Pro Tools® First Focusrite Creative Pack, the Time & Tone Bundle from Softube, the Red Plug-in Suite from Focusrite and one of four Addictives Keys of your choice from XLN Audio.
