Description

  • Railhammer Pickups

New Railhammer Billy Corgan Z-One Pickups: based on the original Billy Corgan Signature pickups, but we beefed up the output and smoothed out the treble for a thicker, heavier rock tone. Billy wanted a tone that worked better for the heavy rock tunes, and for reference specifically mentioned Geek USA, Quiet, Jellybelly, Zero, and Bodies.

  • String Thru Body Bridge

String-thru body design and stainless steel saddles for a percussive attack that provides maximum sustain and a ringing, solid tone.

  • Low Profile Knobs

All the controls feature the classic low profile knob shape, rendered in a chrome finish. The passive Bass Contour is great for tightening up the low end, or re-voicing the pickups. Variable pickup voicing at your fingertips!

  • Chambered Body

Strategic chambers under the pickguard add resonance and reduce weight.

The Reverend Billy Corgan Drop Z combines the aesthetic features of his Z-One signature model and a longer 24-fret, 26.25″ scale neck designed for drop tunings. The long scale neck provides appropriate string tension for down-tuning, so the tone is deep and full, yet still stays punchy and clear. The Alder solid body paired with Railhammer Billy Corgan Z-One Pickups delivers a heightened output and a velvety treble for a rich, weighty rock tone. The roasted Maple neck, fingerboard, and medium oval profile are comfortable to play, even with the slightly longer scale length.

Brand

Reverend Guitars began quietly, in a garage behind a bicycle shop in East Detroit in 1997. Joe Naylor drew upon his years of study in Industrial Design, Lutherie School, and professional vintage guitar repair to create the first Reverend Guitar. It was unusual in its design, but what impressed most people was the attention to detail that Joe put into the instrument. The brand has now grown to encompass a global presence and has garnered the attention of rock stars, working musicians, journalists, and kingmakers from all across the industry. Reverend offers many shapes and styles of guitars and basses, but the one thing that remains the same is the professional quality that's available for everyone - whether you're selling out amphitheaters or playing in your living room. Currently based in Toledo, Ohio, Reverend is run by Ken and Penny Haas. All of the guitars are expertly designed by Joe Naylor, proudly manufactured in South Korea by boutique guitar manufacturer Mirr Music, and meticulously set up by our tech team - lead by Zach Green who initials each one before it goes out the door. From the well-known to the unknown, players of all stripes are impressed because Reverend pays attention to what makes an instrument the kind of instrument players want to play. And that, by the way, is where Reverend's attention will always lie.
