Such a small but so versatile headphone amp!
No need for an instrument cable anymore, connect the Vox Amplug to the guitar, plug in the headphones and you are good to go, anywhere you want, it is very good for practicing.
Sound is good, with everything on 10 it is extremely loud through the headphones, I put gain and tone on 10 and roll down the vol and can produce really good metal sound. With a bit of reverb it is perfect both for rythm and for lead (solos) practice.
Changing the levels of the three effects is a bit of a hassle, otherwise the fit and the functions are perfectly fine.
I don't know what to say, I wish I bought this one years ago, I did not know this thing existed, and now I am very happy I have it.
For me it is totally worth the 50CHF (with delivery) I paid for it.

Have to adjust my review after a couple of months of use. The tiny On/Off button is nuisance. It is really small and I think it went into the body a bit so that I need to use the nail and really press to get the unit started or to change the scooping. Also, there is no click when pressing it. Why could not they make this button bigger and make it produce a click in order to know it actually operates?

Description
The VOX amPlug2 Brian May was developed in collaboration with Sir Brian May to recreate the iconic sound of his VOX AC30 signal chain combined with the Red Special guitar and the sixpence coin in his hand and make it accessible to all. The small headphone amplifier has a switchable treble booster, 3 carefully developed on-board effects, including a stereo delay with tap function and a number of accompanying rhythms, including the stomping and clapping of "We Will Rock You". The amPlug2 simply needs to be connected to the guitar via the built-in jacks and connected to standard headphones, and it is ready to catapult you onto the stage of a stadium show at any time.
