Description

Four different time division settings allow you to precisely tailor the tremolo rhythm for any application. With five different waveshapes — sine, square, ramp, lumps, and random — you can explore trem effects from smooth and subtle to hard-chopped staccato. Complete with a harmonic tremolo mode for vintage rhythmic sweetness.

Five waveshapes range from super smooth to hard chopped

A big part of any tremolo effect's character is its waveshape, and the Monument V2 offers five of them to explore. Sine offers a standard sine wave for smooth modulation, while the square wave offers gated, synthy staccato effects. Ramp is an upward-sloping saw wave, and Lumps is a vibey variation of the sine wave. The Monument V2 also includes a random wave. Between these five waveshapes and the switchable Harmonic/Standard tremolo modes, you'll be able to zero in on practically any type of tremolo effect you can think of.

Switchable tremolo or harmonic tremolo modes

In its Standard mode, the Monument V2 pedal acts as a typical tremolo effect, modulating your guitar signal's volume. In Harmonic mode, it sounds like a vintage harmonic tremolo effect. In this mode, your tone is split into high- and low-frequency ranges and modulated in opposite directions. As high frequencies increase, your lows are decreased in volume, and vice versa. This creates an undulating vibe effect that sounds especially sweet when you have the Lumps waveshape selected.

Awesome tremolo pedal

Great harmonic tremolo, usable as a standard tremolo as well. Hard to go wrong with a nice, flexible tremolo! Does it exist in stereo???

Brand

Art and Performance. Walrus Audio is a collective of artists, musicians and engineers attempting to find the balance between art and performance in sound manipulation. Throughout the years we have been inspired by sounds created by our favorite companies: the perfect breakup on an overdrive; a thick, punchy distortion; an endlessly sustained reverb; a self-oscillating delay. We had to give it a shot. Through many months of late night breadboarding sessions, circuit problem-solving, and sonic tweaking we have come up with a range of guitar pedals as versatile as they are functional. From smooth fuzz to cutting overdrive, our attempts have been to highlight the functions that we would want from these particular sounds. Once we had an accurate idea of the sounds we were creating, we then tried to capture the feel and representation of the pedals through their individual artwork. This process was made possible by Oklahoma artist and musician Nathan Price. Taking stylistic inspiration from classically animated films and using freehand sketching, Nathan has perfectly captured what our pedals should look like. It is our goal to make guitar effects that are as interesting to play as they are to look at. So that's what we are going to do.
