UPGRADE TO 32 BIT
Thanks to the 32-bit float technology and two A/D converter stages, the H6essential delivers an extremely high dynamic range when recording. This gives the user the opportunity to record audio material perfectly and without distortion at any time.

THE FIRST ACCESSIBLE RECORDER
The Essential series was developed to be barrier-free for visually impaired people. When navigating the menu, acoustic instructions are given via the integrated loudspeaker or headphones. Creatives can choose between English, Spanish, French, Japanese, German, Italian and Chinese.

SIX TRACKS
The four XLR/TRS combo inputs feature extremely clean zoom preamps, while the included X/Y microphones can handle a sound pressure level of up to 135 dB, the equivalent of a jet taking off.

WAVEFORM DISPLAY
The H6essential offers a waveform display that allows you to also see the audio signal while recording.

INTEGRATED BLENDER
For maximum control over your mix, press the “Mixer” button and adjust levels on the fly.

FOR MUSICIANS
The H6essential is a portable studio. Microphone up to four instruments via the XLR inputs and use the X/Y microphones to record an entire ensemble in impressive stereo quality.

32-bit float recording gives filmmakers maximum confidence with every take. Interchangeable capsules, four XLR inputs and wireless timecode processing make the H6essential an essential tool on any set.

FOR PODCASTERS
If everyone wants to participate in your podcast, the H6essential is well equipped with four XLR inputs. The optional EXH-6e capsule can be connected for two additional XLR inputs.

NEXT GENERATION CAPSULE SYSTEM 3.0
The H6essential's 3.0 capsule system has been redesigned to support 32-bit float technology, giving creators additional options to use just the right microphone for their recordings.

XYH-6e stereo microphone capsule (included)
Adds two high-quality microphones in an X/Y stereo arrangement. This arrangement can pick up signals that are directly in front of the device with maximum sensitivity and also delivers a clean stereo image.

SSH-6e stereo directional microphone capsule
The SSH-6e integrates an extremely directional microphone for recording signals in the center as well as a bi-directional microphone for recording the left and right sides. The center-side stereo image can be adjusted from mono to an extreme stereo width. You can record dialogue with the center microphone and then mix in the atmosphere recorded with the side microphone as needed.

EXH-6e input capsule
If you need more inputs, simply connect the EXH-6e capsule with two XLR/TRS combo inputs. You can connect two additional microphones, instruments or line sources to this. If you connect a power supply to the capsule's USB-C port, you can even output phantom power. There is also a 3.5 mm mini jack socket for connecting line or microphone signals with plug-in power for lavalier microphones.

PAIRING WITH AN iOS DEVICE
Using the BTA-1* Bluetooth adapter, you can pair with your iOS device to remotely start recording, adjust the mix, display waveforms, and change other settings.

TIMECODE SYNC VIA BLUETOOTH
The BTA-1* Bluetooth adapter also allows you to pair with Bluetooth-enabled timecode devices for audio and video synchronization.

QUIET CONTROLS
For even quieter operation and to minimize hand noise, the recording and encoder controls have been carefully redesigned.

LISTENING VIA THE INTERNAL SPEAKER
For quick control, you can listen to your recordings via the improved internal speaker.

OUTPUTS YOU NEED
You can connect to a camera via the line output and you can listen to the audio signals via the headphone output.

IMPROVED DISPLAY
The new full-color LCD screen ensures an even more vivid display when recording and navigating the menu.

RECORD AND STREAM
