Questo controller a fiato può essere utilizzato anche in modo autonomo, dato che contiene una serie di suoni ed è dotato di altoparlante incorporato.

PRO:
- può essere programmato nel dettaglio a seconda delle proprie esigenze (risposta al fiato, diteggiature ecc.)
- può essere utilizzato in modo indipendente da un PC grazie ai suoni incorporati, all'altoparlante, alla batteria ricaricabile
- rivela tutte le sue potenzialità quando utilizzato con librerie di strumenti virtuali su PC come Audio Modeling, Sample Modeling ecc. La qualità sonora diventa allora straordinaria

CONTRO:
- il volume dell'altoparlante incorporato è appena sufficiente
- i suoni incorporati sono poco convincenti

Dato che l'uso primario è come controller del computer via cavo USB, i 'contra' non penalizzano lo strumento, e il fatto di poter suonare lo strumento in modo indipendente è comunque un vantaggio aggiuntivo.

Der Blaswandler übertrifft meine Erwartungen. Habe viel darüber gelesen. Viele schreiben, es sei ein eigenständiges Instrument. Das kann ich nur bestätigen. Die Handhabung ist gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber mit etwas Übung tun sich einem 'neue musikalische Welten' auf. Soundmässig ist zu sagen, ein akkustisches Instrument wird das geübte Ohr IMMER von einem EWI unterscheiden können und trotzdem machen die vielen Sounds die das Gerät von sich gibt richtig Spass.
