Behringer was found in 1989 by a Swiss engineer Uli Behringer, the musician couldn't find the products he was looking for, so he decided to create his own. Currently, the product range includes synthesizers, mixers, audio interfaces, PA systems, amplifiers and  much more. The company is recognized for offering affordable and cost-effective alternatives to many high-end audio equipment brands. This approach has made their products widely used by musicians, recording studios, live sound engineers, and music enthusiasts.

Bin vom Klang sehr überzeugt. Klingt sehr analog und hat viele Möglichkeiten.

Semimodular Synthesizer zum knaller Preis

Der ARP 2600 ist ja eine Faszination von einem Synth, einerseits ein bisschen Hype darum, anderseits aber auch wirklich spezielles Gerät, das es so anders gar nicht gibt.
Der klassische ARP Sound ist eh speziell und war immer neben MOOG für mich fast interessanter, da er Soundmässig viel weiter geht mit Sync und PWM als der Minimoog je könnte.
Aber es war einfach unmöglich ARP Geräte zu haben, schon gar nicht einen 2600.

Und dann kommt Behringer, die erfüllen mir den grössten Wunsch den ich je hatte, einen 2600 zu haben. Auf ewig dankbar.

Behringer hat es geschafft mich als Kunde zu bekommen, schon lange eigentlich, hatte immer schon Mixer von denen. Und mit der Synthline haben sie mir Geräte in die Hand gegeben die ich so lange wünschte hätte sie haben können. Den original alte Synths sind teuer und sehr störungsanfällig geworden.
Hatte selber mal altes Zeugs, vieles davon verkauft da Technische Probleme und anderes konnte man sich einfach nicht leisten.

Nun aber der 2600 von Behringer ist eine Augenweide, nur schon die Ausstattung mit den Farb LEDs ein Grund zu kaufen. Man hat immer den Überblick was zusammengehört.
Obwohl so viele Funktionen in diesem Synth drin sind, ist er eigentlich recht einfach zu programmieren.
Der zusätzliche LFO ist Gold wert, den gabs ja im Original im zusätzlichen Keyboard drin. Das Behringer den grad ins Gerät implementiert hat ist einfach cool. Auch dass der OSC 3 die gleiche Ausstattung hat wie der OSC 2 und nicht wie der 1 im Original ist eine weitere Erweiterung die Behringer spendiert hat.
Mit dem 2600 kauft man nicht nur den Sound dieses Klangmonsters sondern auch einen Workflow den es sonst anders kaum gibt, ich würde das dem Korg MS 20 noch am ehesten zusprechen bzw natürlich der ganzen Modular Welt wo dann aber viel grösser ist.
Der 2600 ist ein kompaktes Gerät, portable.
Der Sound ist ARP typisch, da können Kritiker sagen was sie wollen, die sind eh nur neidisch was Behringer hinbekommt.
Man bekommt den Sound Charakter von ARP voll und ganz geliefert und kann genau nach Vorbild seinen Sound abholen, sprich eben den Workflow des 2600 was einfach Spass macht.
Ich mache mir manchmal einen Spass daraus die Soundsheets aus dem originalem ARP Manual nachzubauen...witzige Sachen kommen da raus..

Kaufen Leute, da könnt ihr nix falsch machen mit dem 2600.
