Epiphone Hummingbird

This guitar is a sensation at any price - beautiful looking with incredible sounding dreadnought Umpf and sparkling, bell-like highs. Bright and substantial, pronounced mids, great sustain. Super comfortable one piece neck. 
Haven't tried the pick-up yet, but I know it from other guitars, usable but not more.

The guitar was sent sub-optimally set up, then sent back for a serious set up. The result brings tears to my ears and a smile to my face. Stunningly good. Electric guitar action. Its hard to put it down now.

I've been playing for 50 years, have owned a Martin etc. This is my favorite guitar to date.

Ich habe die vielen (sehr positiven) Tests im Netz gesehen und wollte erst die J45 kaufen, hab mich dann aber doch für die Hummingbird entschieden. Vorneweg, ich bin begeistert. 

- Bespielbarkeit = 1A
- Ton = sehr ausgewogen und voll. Sie klingt wie eine Hummingbird klingen soll
- Verarbeitung = bis auf einen kleinen (Nadelkopf grossen) Fehler am Ende vom Hals ist sie tadellos und wunderschön
- Pickup = nicht die Offenbarung, aber wer erwartet das schon. Der Pickup klingt besser als erwartet und kann problemlos auch live benutzt werden.

Alles in Allem, eine sehr schöne, gut klingende und wirklich TOP zu bespielende Hummingbird. Hier bekommt man sehr viel Hummingbird, für sehr wenig Geld. 

Top Gitarre zu einem sehr fairen Preis

Ich war mir lange unsicher.... soll ich es wagen und die Epi nehmen, oder doch etwas mehr Geld ausgeben und beispielsweise auf eine Takamine, Gibson, Lakewood etc. setzen? 

Schlussendlich habe ich mich dank der zahlreichen Tests im Netz für die Epi entschieden und wollte ihr eine Chance geben. Die neuen Modelle von Epiphone inspired by Gibson erhalten im Netz durchwegs nur SEHR gute Kritik. Viele halten den Sound der inspired by Gibson sogar besser als die Originale. Ob das so ist? Diese Diskussion will ich gar nicht erst anfangen. Ich kann nur eines sagen.... Ich wurde nicht enttäuscht und bin sehr zufrieden mit diesem Kauf.

Die Bespielbarkeit ist für eine 12er unfassbar gut 
Der Klang ist fantastisch 
Die Verarbeitung -  sie ist wunderschön und ich konnte keine Mängel feststellen

Wer eine 12er sucht und dafür nicht Fr.3000.- bis Fr.4000.- ausgeben will, trotzdem aber eine qualitativ hochwertige 12er haben will - ich denke der könnte an der Epi ganz lange, ganz viel Freude haben.

Würde ich sie wieder kaufen? - Auf jeden Fall JA!
