Founded in the 1940's by Clarence Leo Fender, Fender Electric Instrument Manufacturing Company is one of the best known brands in the world of electric guitars, basses, amplifiers and electric pianos. Fender continued to innovate in these areas and built legendary models such as the Telecaster and Stratocaster for the guitar and the Rhodes for the electric piano.

Fender American Professional II Precision Bass

Habe lange darüber nachgedacht, mir diesen Bass zu holen, u.a. auch, weil ich einen passiven 5-Saiter wollte. Lange hier nicht verfügbar, aber dann kam irgendwann das erlösende Mail von MusiX: der Bass ist in Giebenach. 😎
Also hingefahren, getestet (inkl. Vergleich zu meinem Tune BassManiac 5er als Referenz) &amp; dann mit nach Hause genommen. 😁
Leo hat definitiv gewusst, was er tut, als er den Preci designt hat, &amp; die aktuelle 5-saitige Reinkarnation ist sehr gelungen. Handlich, ergonomisch, qualitativ sehr hochwertig, definierter Sound &amp; - speziell in diesem Finish - auch optisch sehr ansprechend.
Klar gibt es Bässe mit mehr klanglichen Möglichkeiten, aber für meinen Einsatz-Zweck (Melodic Rock) basst der Preci eben sehr gut, &amp; unser Sound-Guy ist - wie ich auch - sehr zufrieden mit dem, was der Bass liefert.
Die ganz hohen Lagen (so ab dem 15. Bund) sind Geometrie-bedingt nicht ganz easy zu bespielen (was jedem Preci-User bekannt sein dürfte), aber dank des konturierten Neck Heels deutlich besser als beim Standard-Design.
Von meiner Seite her absolute Kaufempfehlung; der Bass ist besser als ich erwartet hatte.
