Weighs 800g, fits in the front pocket of a guitar bag, and sounds brilliant. Not as powerful as my Helix LT but I really haven’t found that to be a problem. It does everything from Enter sandman to Sultans of swing, great!

Brilliant and portable

Very easy to use with a computer but without is a bit complicated 
Distorsion sounds are not very good as all this kind of devices

taking this out to gigs will be a breeze when I can finally start playing gigs again (thanks covid). it's small and yet powerful. I don't do any programming on it directly. it's all done on my Mac. that makes it super easy and fast. 

Great sounds in a small box

Je l'utilise surtout pour les effets delay, chorus, flanger...) dans la boucle d'effet. C'est très bien (transparent). Line 6 a une bonne expérience dans le domaine. L'éditeur est parfait pour paramétrer l'engin depuis son ordi.
Donc très bien pour qui veut réduire la taille de son pedalboard. Le midi est top pour changer les patch.

der kleine Bruder vom grossen Helix ist ein tolles Gerät um zu üben, fürs Studio oder auch live zu jammen,  Die Sounds sind (wie die vom grossen Bruder) hervorragend.  Tolles Gerät und den Preis auf jeden Fall wert!

Unschlagbare Modeling Sounds !

C'est vraiment top.
Je ne suis pas guitariste....je suis claviériste et l'utilise pour mes claviers.  Il a des entrées stéréo (return aux in et main in) et franchement les effets sont vraiment bien pour un clavier également. Si vous avez des vieux claviers vintage et que vous chercher un peu à colorer votre son, c'est ce qu'il vous faut. 
Les simulations 'wahwah' sont meilleures que la seule de mon nord stage 2......et avec la pedal d'expression branchée sur le stomp c'est top.
Bref, comme add-on multi fx si vous êtes clavier, allez y les yeux fermés.
Le seul bémol c'est qu'il est un peu 'char d'assaut' 
Mais je comprends qu'il est sensé résister au pied des gratteux....hahah
Côté édition des sons, vous pouvez le faire sur le Stomp biensûr mais vous serez VACHEMENT plus rapide sur l'editeur 'HX edit' sur votre ordi.

Über die Jahre habe ich verschiedene Effekte gekauft, ausprobiert und viele davon auch wieder weitergegeben. Speziell im Bereich der Multi-Effekte war ich niemals komplett zufrieden. Durch verschiedene Berichte in Foren und Gespräche mit anderen Musikern habe ich mich mit dem Helix-System beschäftigt. Schliesslich habe ich mich für das beste Preis-Leistungsverhältnis entschieden und habe mir das Line6 HX Stomp gekauft. 
Die Bedienung am Helix selbst ist sehr intuitiv, wenn man es noch ein wenig einfacher möchte, kann man die auch die sehr gute Software nutzen, um eigene Presets zu erzeugen. Sicherlich muss man bei der geringen Baugrösse Kompromisse eingehen, gegenüber dem &quot;grossen&quot; Helix fehlen ein paar Bedienelemente. Die Möglichkeit, weitere Footswitches oder Expression-Pedals über die entsprechenden Buchsen anszuschliessen oder die Steuerung über MIDI vorzunehmen, gleichen dieses Manko aus, gehen aber zu Lasten der Kompaktheit. 
Die Qualität der vorhandenen Effekte überzeugt und man kann wirklich spannende Kombinationen erstellen. Ich habe bei weitem noch nicht alle Möglichkeiten ausgeschöpft und freue mich auf weitere Stunden mit Experimenten mit dem HX Stomp. 

Helix im kompakten Format

This is a game changer in many ways, the FX and Amp models and the ability to add IR's is just out of this world - For home recording it is a perfect solution if you have an under powered Mac or PC as you can use the HX Stomp as the entire rig recorded as an Audio track saving valuable processing, rendering DAW guitar plugins useless. 
For a Live setup as a Brain on a Pedal board or as an entire rig with a FFR Speaker it is TOTALY AMAZING I can't praise the HX stomp enough its just Fantastic !
