We can find the Marshall sound in this little ans transportable amplifier. As in others dual channel amps, the volume between the channel give some time to setup 

Pure Marshall

Ein Sound wie er von Marshall zu erwarten ist. 
Mit dem Fusspedal lassen sich Geräte im FX Loop bequem ein und ausschalten. Das Gain im Clean Chanel dürfte etwas stärker sein für meinen Geschmack. Lässt sich jedoch leicht kompensieren mit einem Distortion Pedal, wie dem Nobels Mini. 
Der Combo muss sich nicht scheuen im Bandraum neben Drums und anderen Instrumenten. Seine Leistungen ist durchaus ausreichend. Auch für einen Gig. Alles in allem ein gutes Produkt 

Klassischer Marshall Sound

Ich hatte vor Jahren schon einmal den Marshall DSL40 Combo.
Dieser war für mich aber wegen der Umschaltung der Klangregelung Clean / Crunch oder OD1/OD2 im Band- Betrieb nicht Optimal zu handhaben.
Nun reizte es mich aber nach vier Jahren Spielzeit mit dem Boss Katane100 MKII Head, wieder einmal einen Röhren Amp zu testen.
MusiX bot mir an, den Marshall  DSL 20 HR 30 Tage zu  testen und bei nicht Zufriedenheit diesen wieder returnieren zu können.
Da konnte ich natürlich nicht widerstehen und habe den Amp gleich superschnell geliefert bekommen.
Danke MusiX für Euren Super Service.
Nun zum Amp:
Marshall sofort ausgepackt,
Angeschlossen an zwei Marshall MX 212A/B 8Ohm Boxen die mit einem Passive Cabinet Merger auf 16 Ohm geschaltet werden können.
Alle Regler mal auf 12 Uhr. (Lautstärke im Mehrfamilienhaus auf 12 Uhr allerdings nicht zu empfehlen.) 
Erster Akkord angeschlagen und hoppla: sofort war da der Aha Effekt. 
Röhre hat halt doch noch ein anderes Klangbild. (ist aber halt Geschmacksachse.)
Beide Klangregelungen, von Classic Gain  und Ultragain sind für mich gut abzustimmen.
Mit etwas Ausprobieren kriegt man mit diesem DSL 20HR  mit Fender oder Gipson schnell vom weichen Clean Sound bis zu Brettharten Verzerrung hin.
Auch auf Zimmerlautstärke reduziert auf 10 Watt Klingt er noch echt gut. 
Über zu wenig Lautstärke braucht man sich hier wohl kaum Sorgen zu machen.
Kurzer Test im Übungsraum:
20Watt Einstellung:
Volumen Poti, ab 12 Uhr wird es laut, bringt aber schon auch vorher sein volles Klangbild zur Geltung.
Ich werde den Marshall DSL 20 HR sicher behalten, auch wenn ich jetzt wieder ein zwei Boden-Treter zulegen muss. 

Weniger ist manchmal mehr

Das Beste sind für mich die beiden Kanäle mit unabhängigen Lautstärken und Gain Regelungen! Auch wenn der EQ von beiden Kanälen geteilt wird, ist man so schon mal ein Stück weiter, mit fuss Schalter ist man blitzschnell von clean auf verzerrt und zurück.

Dazu noch ein Einschleifweg und Option für Kopfhörer sowie 10 Watt Betrieb für das Spielen daheim - es funktioniert! Und endlich habe ich genug und satte Verzerrung für eine Strat und alles ohne Verzerrer Pedal ! Das einzige kleine Manko ist der eingebaute Hall, der nicht besonders geht und klingt, aber insgesamt ist das Topteil für mich sehr gut für den Preis. Einstellungen müssen etwas probiert und geübt werden, weil sehr mannigfaltig, aber daher auch sehr anpassungsfähig. Ich bin sehr zufrieden!

Gut für daheim und mehr !

First of all, this is awesome. You can get sparkly crisp clean tones on the classic gain channel and all the way up to heavy metal on the ultra gain without putting the gain up to max (I have it around 2-3 o'clock on the gain for metal). I used to have the JCM 2000 TSL 100 but it was way too big. Over the years I've been using smaller solid state amps and recently went back to valve. I had the Peavey MH and the EVH 1x12 cab, but it wasn't doing it for me. I also have the Laney IRT 60 combo 212 which is not good for metal. I recently bought the DSL 20HR and I love it. It blows my other amps away. I play Les Pauls, strat, flying V, ESP E2 and EVH Wolgang through the DSL and they all sound amazing. I forgot how good the Marshall sound was and it's just like my old JCM 2000. I only use it on 10W as it is very very loud and I play it with the volume turned down low but it's still loud. Fantastic amp. I play it through my EVH 1x12 cab.
