With more than 170 years of experience in manufacturing harmonicas, C.A. SEYDEL Söhne is the oldest harmonica manufacturer in the world still producing today. A multitude of well-known artists, but also countless hobby and amateur musicians have found their favourite instruments in our harmonicas.  In 1847 Christian August Seydel founded the company of the same name, which is still located in the town of Klingenthal, known for 350 years for the construction of musical instruments. Under the leadership of the descendants of the company founder, C.A. SEYDEL Söhne developed at the end of the 19th century into the most important harmonica manufacturer in the city that dominated the world market at that time.  In the 20th century, a changeful history followed, which included nationalisation in the former GDR and the subsequent reprivatisation after the reunification of Germany. Since 2004, C.A. SEYDEL Söhne has met the challenges of the 21st century with a completely revised product range. The quality of the instruments has been raised to a new level through years of in-house development work and the participation of professional musicians. The use of stainless steel reeds in the top instruments creates another unique selling point on the world market. Due to the improved tone response, assertiveness and durability of the stainless steel reeds, C.A. SEYDEL Söhne was the first harmonica manufacturer to break new ground and change the image of the harmonica from a disposable article to a full-fledged musical instrument.  The production is still mainly handmade and exclusively at the Klingenthal site.

Ich mag den Sound der Session Steel im Vergleich z.B. zu den 1847 Modellen von Seydel, die ebenso Stahlstimmzungen haben, deutlich weniger. Er ist mir zu dunkel und muffig, die Brillanz und Lebendigkeit fehlt. V.a. bei den tiefer gestimmten Harmonikas wie G und A. Die Haltbarkeit ist sehr gut im Vergleich zu Hohner Harmonikas.

Etwas dunkler, muffiger Sound bei guter Haltbarkei

Ottima armonica, la raccomando a tutti. Qualità ottima e buon suono.

Die Sedel Session Steel LC-Dur ist die beste Blues - Harp Harmonika die
ich gekauft habe.Sehr Robust und einen guten Klang.

Seydel Session Steel LC-Dur

Je l'ai acheté pour comparer avec ma Lee Oskar A qui ne me convient pas du tout.
Beaucoup plus aisé à jouer qu'avec la Lee Oscar.Me convient bien.

La seule toute petite reserve est le son, que je trouve un peu moins clair / moins metal qu'avec un Lees Oskar. Mais c'est personnel...
