Je possède ce delay depuis quelques semaines et suis étonné par la pureté et la beauté des sons
Je connais bien les autres marques qui se partagent le hit-parade mais strymon timeline fait partie du peloton de tête .
Bravo par ce produit bien fini Made in Usa.
Il est vrai que beaucoup de delay ont le même goût mais celui là  est un délice autant pour amateurs avérés que pour professionnels exigeants.
Je le recommanderais sans hésiter.

Das Strymon Timeline Delay teilt sich mit dem Eventide Time Factor resp. dem H9 den Thron der populären Delaygeräte. Die vielfältigen Delays und ihre Bearbeitungsmöglichkeiten machen die Kiste zu einem Tausendsassa, der nahezu alles kann. Doch gerade die unendliche Möglichkeit an Auswahl überfordert. Ich bin deshalb wieder zu meinen geliebten DD-5/7 und DSD-3 zurückgekehrt, simpel, aber genial. Nerviger Faktor beim Timeline (und Big Sky): Beim Wechseln der Sets bricht das Signal sofort ab; ein fliessender Übergang wäre spannend gewesen.

(Anm. Musix: &quot;Spill over&quot; ist möglich beim Betrieb im &quot;buffered Bypass&quot; Modus)

Tausendsassa

I spent hours and hours watching and listening to reviews and demos of this pedal and was incredibly excited when I finally decided to spend the money. It surpassed my very high expectations and I only just scratched the surface of what this pedal can do. I will use this for years to come and it's the first and only thing so far that made me consider incorporating Midi in my rig because I just want to make use of its insane potential. 

But even for a standard user, like I am at the moment, it's surprisingly easy to operate. 

If you know it, you'll probably love it.

This is just an amazing pedal, the features are incredible. There are 12 different delays, each one having many parameters to configure exactly what you want. You can configure the usual delay time and repeats, but also things like low-pass or high-pass filters to get more repeats in the high or low frequencies, or the saturation-level to get 'dirtier' repeats, and so on.

The sound quality is also amazing, you can get extremely clean digital-like delays or dirtier analog-like delays, giant reverb-style repeats, low-fi repeats ... it always sounds great! Also you have stereo inputs and outputs which is great if you play with 2 amps: you then get a massive delay, really impressive.

The only drawback is that with so many parameters and configuration possibilities, you can easily get stuck for hours configuring your delays! ;-) I would probably keep it for life, and if it breaks, I'd buy a new one.
