Condenser microphone for live and studio use.
Whether in the studio, for reports or for live recordings - the C1000 S always delivers the best results.
A low-cut switch attenuates signals below 80 Hz and avoids unwanted interference from impact noise or wind noise. Even loud instruments such as drums and wind instruments in the orchestra can be perfectly heard using the -10 dB pad switch.
If phantom power is not available, the C1000 S can operate for up to 120 hours using two inexpensive AA batteries. A control LED provides information about the charging status and warns 1 hour before the batteries are empty.
By plugging in the included Polar Pattern Converter, the polar pattern of the C1000 S can be easily changed from cardioid to hypercardioid. The Presence Boost Adapter, which is also included, increases the high frequencies between 5 and 9 kHz by 3 to 5 dB, thus ensuring better speech intelligibility and a more precise instrumental sound.

I purchased this microphone as a back-up for when I have other musicians come to my studio to jam. It's OK, probably good for a bedroom musician. Similar to the SM57 for when using with toms/drum overheads. Would still prefer different microphones when recording acoustic guitars/vocals.
A good choice for speech. I installed it in a church, and the sound quality is good. Even when two people are standing next to each other and talking, the speech intelligibility is good. The microphone is versatile and can be used for speech, solo performances, and theater.
