The SE7 is a high quality back electret small diaphragm condenser microphone suitable for a variety of studio and live sound applications. The sE7 masters the recording of acoustic guitars, pianos, drums and beyond with flying colors. Equipped with an optimized acoustic design, discrete Class A circuits, -20dB pad and low-cut filter as well as a transformer-less output, the sE7 delivers clear, natural sound quality across all frequencies, with crisp highs and rich bass. The discrete electronics and switchable damping ensure high dynamics, high sound pressure levels (SPL) and extremely quiet transmission. The switchable low-cut filter helps to avoid impact noise and can also compensate for excess bass frequencies caused by the proximity effect . With these properties, the sE7 is also suitable as a “close-up” microphone for electric guitar loudspeakers, brass instruments and drums, among other things. High-quality condenser capsule The sE7 's special capsule is designed for natural, balanced sound quality with an ultra-thin membrane for excellent transient response. Its cardioid polar pattern is ideal for most studio or stage applications, delivering great sound from almost any source. Switchable low-cut filter The integrated 80Hz low-cut filter helps to eliminate low-frequency rumble or impact noise or to compensate for excessive bass (proximity effect) with close mic techniques.
