The first two things I noticed, about the ML1 Pro Modern once it was in my hands, were the neck and the texture of the body. The shape of the neck, the smoothness of the stainless steel frets, and the amazing bare-feeling finish of the back of the neck charmed me immediately. The neck is such a pleasure to play, it puts a smile on my face. The pickups, particularly the neck, are voiced really well for this guitar. The neck „sings“. I shouldn‘t foget to mention the finish. The sand-blasted texture reminds me so much of a smooth tree-bark. It is so interesting in feel. I look forward to playing this guitar every day, an I expect I will continue to do so.

Sound

As soon as I picked this up I knew it was a good one. The feel of the neck, the overall weight, Satin finish, all great. I was really surprised by how good the machine heads are, and also the volume control is in exactly the right place. Has a great feel too. This guitar feels like they made it out of good components and the sound is good too with the standard humbuckers they supply. I have a Les Paul Standard HP and a USA strat to compare it to and it stands up equally among them in my opinion. If this is your price budget, you will be happy you spent the money on this.
