The OCD is an overdrive/distortion pedal that revolutionized the market when it was released in 2004 by using a MOSFET operational amplifier for the first time. The result is a more open and more dynamic sound that better respects the nuances of the guitarist's playing and the characteristics of their guitar. Thanks to these new benefits, the OCD excels in many different uses, such as a clean boost, but it is also capable of boosting a tube amp more than many pedals on the market, creating richer and more complex harmonics. It can also produce a powerful and distinctive distortion sound. The OCD operates at 9 or 18 Volts, further enhancing its dynamic capabilities. With its HP/LP selector, it offers either a colored and powerful English sound akin to Vox/Marshall or a more transparent sound that respects the original signal. The OCD evolved through 8 versions between 2004 and 2017, with version 1.4 released in 2009 being particularly appreciated by fans of the brand.
