It has the essentials of stunning Ampero effects armory with 3rd party IR support. Onboard essential I/O jacks are more than enough for daily use, the touch screen and intuitive UI ensures smooth, straight-forward experience on a minimalized chassis. Equipped with the Ampero One’s identical level’s tone quality, Ampero Mini will offer you excellent performance on the money, especially for players who want to experience Ampero tone, rookies on a budget, session musicians who need both ultra-compact size and pro tone, even experienced amp modeler players. What a machine! Of course is small and the possibilities are little but what sound! The computer interface is easy to use
First of all: Good size for a desktop device, stable, intuitive operation, a bit fiddly if you have large hands and thick fingers, enough connections for all sorts of inputs and outputs. In my opinion, the factory-installed sounds are completely over-processed with effects, but they can be changed! My biggest drawback: The looper and the built-in drums. I've never had a looper this complicated, and I won't be using it anymore, especially not with the drums, which, in my opinion, were poorly designed – okay for practicing... However, there are definitely some patches that are inspiring and, at least for me, spark new song ideas. Price/performance: quite okay!
