The minilogue xd inverted from KORG is a 4-voice polyphonic analog synthesizer that, in addition to its completely analog signal path, also offers the digital multi-engine that comes from the legendary analog flagship KORG prologue. This includes a third, digital multi-oscillator that can cover a wide variety of sounds from the areas of noise, VPM and wavetable as well as a high-quality, digital effects unit that allows you to use up to three effects at the same time. The selection here extends from a variety of classic modulation, delay and reverb effects to more specialized representatives such as tape echo and shimmer reverbs. The special feature of the multi-engine, however, is that you can program your own oscillators and effects and transfer them to the minilogue xd. There are already a variety of different oscillator and effect types available from third-party suppliers that can be optionally used in the minilogue xd.
In addition to the two analog oscillators (VCO) of the minilogue xd inverted, the analog LoPass filter also plays an important role in shaping the sound. In combination with the flexible envelopes and the two-stage drive circuit, this creates wonderfully warm pad sounds, assertive leads or crisp, percussive basses. As a clever playing aid, the minilogue xd inverted has an X/Y joystick, which not only allows the pitch to be changed "la pitch bend", but also allows two other parameters to be modulated on the Y axis (e.g. filter cutoff and envelope intensity). The integrated, polyphonic step sequencer offers a total of 16 steps and, thanks to the support of motion sequencing, can create extremely animated Pattern in the course of which the sound constantly changes. The limited "inverted" special model is characterized by its inverted keyboard, where the white keys are colored black and vice versa. This unusual design is reminiscent of early acoustic and electronic keyboard instruments and gives the instrument a striking, iconic look that is sure to attract attention in any environment.
