Currently, these are definitely my preferred strings. While opinions on the sound may vary, everyone can have their own preferences. The review focuses more on the quality of the strings. They are not the cheapest strings you can buy, but they are of high quality, I previously had issues with tape windings that would quickly come loose, but these have held up perfectly so far, even after multiple changes on different basses for sound comparison. They have a slightly higher frequency response than other tape windings, which I had to get used to, but this allows for more options. I would recommend them, and there are already many comparisons on YouTube and other platforms.
