The MB58R series is a further example of how Markbass is always one step ahead in innovating using state-of-the-art technologies. Once again Marco De Virgiliis with his pioneering soul has managed to create this new series of products which, with the use of custom components born thanks to years of experience and research Markbass and the use of revolutionary materials with an eye to the future and the evironment, has really nailed the tone and power versus portability issue. The MB58R MINI CMD 121 PURE features 1x12" Markbass Neodymium custom speaker and a new hi-fi tweeter. this combo continues to lead the pack when it comes to big sound from a small package. The sound that comes from this amp simply does not match what you see when you look at such a small and ultralight cube, weighs only 21.76 lbs/ 9.87 kg!

A very good purchase. More versatile than expected, as the Hi-Fi tweeter allows me to use the speaker for keyboards and, in an emergency, even acoustic guitars. This would not be possible with piezo tweeters. The only downside is the ventilation, which activates shortly after turning on and remains active until turned off, even in standby mode. A quieter fan would be preferable. A switch for reduced power would be useful for home use, as the gain and master volume are always close to the left end, to avoid being too loud in a rented apartment. + Very good workmanship, good materials + Full-bodied sound + Compact and lightweight, yet very powerful + All controls and practically all connections are accessible from above - The fan should be quieter - A switch for reduced power would be useful
