Today we proudly present our latest hardware collaboration: a limited-edition Bass Station II synthesizer, designed in collaboration with Ian "Swifty" Swift – the creative mind behind some of the most iconic logos, record covers, and magazine layouts in the British music scene.
Swifty helped shape the visual language of British underground music – and now he's giving it an instrument with his unmistakable signature. The Bass Station II Swifty Edition has all the deep bass, piercing leads, paraphonic pads, and wild effects you'd expect – all in a white and blue design that's as playful yet expressive as its sound.
The Bass Station II Swifty Edition features an exclusive selection of new artist patches created by three prominent figures in the Bass Station II community: Dutch techno pioneer Legowelt, alt-pop duo Pecq, and jazz/electronic fusion artist Maria Chiara Argirò.

Ian "Swifty" Swift
Swifty may not be a household name, but his designs are widely recognized. In the 1990s and 2000s, legendary British graphic designer Ian "Swifty" Swift played a key role in defining the visual identity of British music and club culture. As the creative mind behind Straight No Chaser—a cult magazine for jazz, hip-hop, electronica, and world music—and with his cover and logo designs for labels like Mo' Wax and Talkin' Loud, his bold, DIY-inspired style became as much a part of the look as the sound of the era.
Swifty's design language is now entering the hardware world for the first time. The limited Bass Station II Edition combines his distinctive typography with custom panels and visual motifs inspired by rave flyers, dubplate culture, and DIY zines.
