These new Remo Ambassador SMT bass heads feature a pre-damped design with Sub Muffl Technology, an external damping profile that includes a free-floating acoustic foam ring. This improvement takes a lot of time and guesswork out of getting the ideal amount of tone and sustain out of your bass drum. The head itself is made from a single 10mm Mylar layer that contains a large amount of low frequencies with carefully controlled mid and high frequencies. The Remo Ambassador SMT bass drum heads are suitable for a variety of moods and genres, making it easier than ever to sculpt the ideal bass drum sound.
