KS Audio SAT 3 SAT 3.0

One of the most successful systems from KS is the SAT system - a concept that was created almost 30 years ago, was often copied and today represents the epitome of a small PA with an active mono subwoofer. That's why we have created the new SAT 3 for all users who are looking for the sound of a good hi-fi system, who need the live intelligibility of a PA and whose audience usually consists of a few 100 people - a product that leaves nothing to be desired! The mid-high frequency loudspeakers in the SAT 3 system are the C1, passive systems that are unique in their compactness and transmission quality for sound reinforcement with speech and music. Thanks to the HDSP principle, the driver/horn combination has an equally good frequency response up to 19kHz at all angles. The 10" low-midrange driver has an extremely powerful ND drive and high resilience of the 3" voice coil. The connections are on two parallel Speakon NL4. The active subwoofer of the SAT 3 is the CB18. A bass reflex housing equipped with an 18" ND chassis with 4" voice coil. This 1200W chassis also delivers deep bass completely distortion-free. The 2000Wrms DSP controller amplifier is recessed into the woofer housing in such a way that, on the one hand, an easily accessible, inclined front panel is created where the controls do not protrude, and on the other hand, the cooling for the three 2-channel PWM power amplifiers can take place unhindered. The DSP controller processes both analogue signals up to 20dBv and digital AES/EBU format, switching takes place automatically. Special FIR filters for linear-phase, pulse-faithful equalization are programmed for the mid/high-frequency systems. All manually operated functions as well as additional filters can be controlled from the PC using the KS REMOTE USB software. Both systems have one thing in common, the housing construction: KS standard handle shells, pole flange with M20 thread, stacking feet, protective grille and optional transport protection cover with wheels.
