Warwick Triumph Bass (Honey Violin High Polish)

The new Warwick Triumph E-Upright is here - and it's wonderful! The Triumph is a modern version of the original Framus design that made a splash in the early '50s and is available in 4 and 5 string versions. The Body and neck are each made of maple, a wood that delivers a particularly brilliant basic sound with balanced bass and a remarkable sustain. A top made of hand-picked curly maple is glued to the two-part hollow milled Body . The fingerboard is made of Tigerstripe ebony and underlines the overtone-rich character. The pickups used are a MEC Custom Alnico Magnetic pickup at the end of the fingerboard and specially developed piezo pickups in the maple bridge. The signals from both pickup systems can be continuously mixed with each other. Plucking and bowing are performed equally confidently by this bass. Classic acoustic, growling or purring tones can be elicited from the Triumph stand-up bass as well as almost synthetic-sounding sounds that will appeal very much to new-age bassists.
